AGES 7+

​

Through project-based instruction, students will have to opportunity to learn various hand sewing techniques for construction and repair, embroidery and cross stitch, and knitting and crochet. The first semester will introduce various skills and students will get hands-on experience with sewing projects, embroidery projects, and knitting and crochet projects as we explore the world of fiber arts together. The second semester will give students the chance to work independently on larger projects or continue exploring various aspects of fiber arts while gaining new skills. Every skill level is welcome and we'll have a great time learning and creating together!

 

Skills required: 

All skill levels and physical abilities are welcome.

 

Homework: 

Students who wish to complete larger projects will need to work on them outside of class.

 

Lecture time: 

Classes will be project based, little to no lecture will be required.
