OLDER TOY MAKING
with Marta Ossolinska and Jamie Targhetta
AGES 9 - 12
This class will be for artists and toy makers who don’t mind a bit of a challenge. Possible projects may include making tiny books, clay animals with houses and accessories, puppets, jewelry, wooden peg dolls, pipe cleanse people, jointed paper dolls, bugs or animals made of scrap fabric, puzzles or games.
Skills required:
Students must be willing to listen to directions, although there will be plenty of room for creativity and self expression. This class will be designed with older kids in mind, so sewing, using scissors, using glue guns and other crafting skills will be required.
Homework:
No homework but kids may want to to continue working on projects at home.
Lecture time:
Not too much, but ability to listen and follow directions is required
