AGES 12+

Unleash your creativity and step into the spotlight with our Teen Theater class! Whether you're a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, this class will help you build confidence, develop acting skills, and collaborate with fellow young artists. Through engaging exercises, scene work, and improvisation, students will explore character development, voice projection, stage presence, and storytelling. In this fun and supportive environment, you'll have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience at the End of Year Celebration and discover the magic of theater. The stage is waiting for you!

Required skills:

Teens need to be willing to move out of their comfort zone, and explore their creativity.

 

Homework:

Each student will need to memorize a few lines for the performance at the End of Year Celebration.

 

Lecture time:

Depends on the day, but normally no more than 5 minutes at a time as we transition between activities and games.

 

Special supplies parents provide: Parents may be asked to supply costume pieces for the skit at the End of Year Celebration.
